‘A Better Place’ is my personal response to how photography is a form of therapy. This series of images considers the experience of grief after losing a loved one. By looking closely at my family environment, documenting them with 35mm analogue film and showing them as enlarged contact prints, the work intends to speak as a metaphor to the grieving process as non-linear fragments of existence and remembrance.
